A novelty print of free floating flowers, brushwood fences, and wave motif is featured on this vintage silk komon kimono, in warm autumn colors, circa mid-century or mid-Showa period.

The finely made hitoe (unlined) kimono consists of a woven silk broadcloth with stenciled designs and hand applied pigments of persimmon, goldenrod, pale yellow, and olive green colors over a black ground.

It also has a deep 4&1/4 inch hemline and is in very good condition, with all colors remaining vibrant and intact.
