Oftentimes, the kimono manufacturing process goes between 3 different groups (fabric weavers, fabric dyers, kimono manufacturers), but this fabric was weaved and dyed by the same company.
The fabric is textured and feels very interesting. It's a bit rough and a little firm.
We are including the fabric cutting from the original bolt, so you can either use this to verify the high quality, genuine Japanese silk fabric that was used to make it or use it to craft something else with it.
